Supertramp

Citation :: Supertramp est un groupe de rock progressif britannique fondé en 1969 par Rick Davies et lancé par Rick Davies et Roger Hodgson. Il réalisa ses plus grosses ventes dans les années 1970.

Initialement, la musique de Supertramp est composée d'ambitieux albums-concepts, mais le groupe sera plus connu pour ses chansons comme Dreamer, Give a Little Bit, The Logical Song, Goodbye Stranger et Breakfast in America. Malgré son succès commercial, le groupe n'a jamais déclenché le fanatisme du public ; ainsi, même à l'apogée de leur popularité, les membres du groupe pouvaient encore sortir sans crainte d'être reconnus.

Personnellement, j'ai découvert ce groupe grâce à leur best-of "The Very Best-Of", que je recommande fortement, que de superbes chansons, c'est depuis longtemps rentré dans les "grands classiques", alors, à écouter !
